At Courtney Elizabeth Events, we pride ourselves on giving you an exceptional client experience from the minute we meet up to discuss your perfect wedding day. We meet couples at all different stages of the planning process. Some couples call us days after getting engaged, while others want to plan much of their wedding on their own, but need help with the specifics of their wedding weekend management. Great news– We have wedding packages to suit all of your needs and are always more than willing to step in wherever you need us!

The Initial Meeting

Since it is likely that you have never planned a wedding before, we understand that the idea of hiring a wedding planner may seem a little daunting. You’re probably wondering what exactly our job would entail, how we would help you plan, and you’re most likely wondering how much hiring a planner would even cost. We get it.

So let’s start by meeting up for coffee (or a glass of wine…) and get to know each other! I love working with awesome couples and hearing the vision for their big day! At this meeting we’ll talk about your wedding (obviously) and we’ll go over my packages, pricing, and service standards. We are happy to customize our packages to fit your particular needs and if need be we will work to create an estimate based off of our conversation to make sure you’re getting everything you need.

You and your fiance will leave our first (free) initial meeting armed and ready with all the information you need to be able to decide if you would like to work with Courtney Elizabeth Events when planning your wedding day! We will be working very closely with you over the next couple of months so it’s important to make sure it’s meant to be. Take your time and we’ll be here when you’re ready to say Yes! for the second time.

If you decide that working with us would be the best fit for you (yay! we can’t wait!!) we’ll sign a contract, get all the formalities in order, and then we’ll start planning your wedding day!

It is our goal over the next several months to help you plan a beautiful wedding day. We’ll find you amazing vendors that fit within your budget, come up with unique and creative ideas that will wow your guests, and be there to answer your questions every step of the way.

But we also want to make sure your event runs smoothly– this is our bread and butter.

Lead planner, Courtney Norris, is uber organized and loves planning ahead for whatever the day will throw our way. It is our goal to help you plan a wedding that will be an enjoyable experience for your guests from start to finish. We want to help you think of all the little things that will make a big difference over the course of your wedding weekend. From the welcome baskets prepared and waiting in your guest’s hotel rooms to the late night Smoke’s poutine bar surprise at the end of the reception— we want to help you think of everything and then some. The combination of our strong planning and creative skills and our love for wedding design is what truly makes us stand out from the rest.

We know couples invest a lot of time and money into their wedding day, but we also know that having someone there to help ensure that their stress is minimized and that everything is executed flawlessly is what ends up being their best investment.
